It was in the crescendo moment of my life that I rediscovered the rest, the pause, the importance of momentary stillness. In the busy high moments of full time working, motherhood and being constantly surrounded by sound, I for the first time in my life understood how important those silences were for health, sanity, and wellbeing.
We are all born with a sacred instrument, it is built inside of us, and we have the innate knowledge of when to use it, watch young children, they are constantly using it, they hum, sing, cry and make sounds. They could use it in boredom, in discovery, some in comfort but it is an unknowing tool they use to soothe and regulate.
I always loved singing, my sister and I harmonising and belting out the latest song. I sang through my childhood and then at 11 started playing guitar. This was my solace in my teenage years, I wrote songs, and this outlet was a therapy that I was not aware of at the time. I went on to formally study music. I explored the band scene and did studio work.
Wanderlust called and I travelled and discovered the world. After many years I decided to anchor down, married the man of my dreams, worked in the corporate world, and became a mother of two exceptional human beings. And then, before I knew it, the joy was gone, the music stopped and everything was filled with resentment, with no reprieve from the noise both outside and inside.
It was at this point I realised I needed to fill my very empty cup to escape the constant chaos and recalibrate again. One night I went to a sound bath. I was transported beyond time and space. It was the most powerful thing I had experienced. I also started listening to 528Hz all day, every day. My entire life started changing. Suddenly all the little spaces I was creating were allowing the stillness to penetrate me and my life where and when it mattered. I was reading everything I could on the subject and then enrolled to train formally with the Sound Healing Academy.
My mission is to empower individuals to tap into their innate resources and the natural environment to promote holistic well-being. To reawaken the awareness of the incredible tools within us and our environment that enable us to not only survive but thrive. Recognizing that we are primarily composed of water, we are vibrational beings, and sound profoundly affects us on every level physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. By understanding and harnessing these forgotten abilities, we can optimise our well-being.
Through self-awareness and practice, we not only heal but also maintain our vitality and health. Our fundamental tools are our voice, our breath, our heart connection, and our connection with nature.
Let us find our balance and inner harmony by embracing the silence and finding beauty in the space between.

My name is Stacey, yoga teacher and owner of Wandering Wild Yoga. I am thrilled to share my journey as a yoga teacher with you. As a mother to three wonderful kids, yoga has helped me to learn the true meaning of balance and patience and also the importance of taking time out to breathe and move my body. My journey as a yoga teacher began with my own personal practice, where I experienced the benefits and power of yoga in my life.
Since becoming a teacher thirteen years ago, my mission has been to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of their age, body type, or fitness level. Six years ago, I opened my studio ‘The Yoga Space’ at Meon Springs. The studio is the base for Wandering Wild Yoga and has been lovingly created as a safe and inclusive place for students to discover the joy of yoga.
In my teaching, I strive to create an atmosphere that is connected, loving, and joyful. I encourage my students to explore their boundaries, listen to their bodies, and find their own unique expression of the practice.
I am truly grateful to be able to share my love for yoga with others and witness the positive impact it has on their lives. Join me on the mat and let's embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation through the beautiful practise of yoga.
